PPC Manager

Posted 7 March by Red Sprout Limited Easy Apply

Google or Bing?

Facebook or Twitter?

You love them all.

Of course you do.

Sometimes you’ll want to get more people to join team Clic Sargent to stop cancer destroying young lives. The next day you’ll want to help brands get closer to their clients or help customers buy their train ticket to Carlisle. That’s the point, there’s real variety in the client mix.

So, what’s this role all about then?

You’ll be creating, developing and implementing paid advertising strategies, to produce great results for clients that vary from Northern Rail to Insight Investment and CLIC Sargent, the children’s cancer charity. These are large accounts and so you will be responsible for PPC and shopping campaigns across Google and Bing as well as other platforms and social channels and manage all paid search advertising campaigns and retargeting.

You’ll implement A/B and multivariate testing to continuously improve ROI and performance and use key programmes such as Google AdWords and Google Analytics to analyse and report on all PPC campaigns for all clients throughout the year

It’ll be your job to optimise all PPC activity, including bid management, copywriting and competitor benchmarking and landing page testing and optimisation.

It will be a given that you have had a couple of years experience and have a Google Advertising qualification and that your experience will have come from within an agency. You will also have lots of experience using paid search management and tracking tools.

The search team is relatively small but very friendly and tight knit, with a Paid Search Lead, Content and Social Lead, 2 Content Managers, 1 PPC manager and an Exec and they work as an integrated search team to deliver the best results for their clients.

They’re 40 strong now and are in a Grade 2 listed building close to Richmond train station (Zone 4 and just 8 minutes from Clapham Junction). The office is right by the River Thames so only a step away from green space and amazing views to enjoy on your lunch break. But they’re far from sleepy. There’s a hardcore who party on a Friday night and the whole team are as hard working and ambitious, just without the daily fight in and out of town.

You get your birthday off, plus a Positive Day and a Thinking Day to do something you love, or to give something back. And you’ll be a part of an amazing agency family too - with BBQs in the summer in our courtyard garden by the river, office dogs that pop in and out to keep everyone entertained, and plenty of social activities and visits to the local pubs.
