A Japanese automotive engineering firm specializes in high-performance powertrainbased in Milton Keynes has an exciting opportunity for Powertrain Development Engineer to join their international team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about automotive engineering and high-performance solutions to contribute to groundbreaking projects.
TYPE: Full-time role
SALARY: £30-40k
LOCATION: Milton Keynes
Powertrain Development Engineer Main Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test engine and powertrain systems
- Optimize performance, durability, and efficiency through analysis and evaluation
- Research and implement new technologies and materials
- Propose and implement improvements to the development process
- Collaborate and coordinate with race teams and other departments.
- Create technical documents and reports
Powertrain Development Engineer Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in powertrain development or engine design
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) and simulation tools
- Knowledge of engine performance analysis and testing
- Understanding of trends and technologies in the automotive industry
- Strong teamwork and project management skills
- English communication skills (additional languages are a plus)
