Power BI Developer - Essex/Hybrid - £80,000

I am working with a UK based international retailer who are looking for a Power BI Developer to join their well established IT team. Reporting into the BI Manager you will take ownership for the Power BI reporting suite across the business. You will look to maintain and develop the current suite of reports whilst looking into new opportunities to deliver improved insights to departments across the business.

You will work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather their requirements for reporting before building out visualisations and presenting insights back to them. This is a commercially focused end-to-end role where the reports you develop will have a huge impact to the success of the organisation.

Longer term, the organisation are looking at how the can utilise AI functionality and predictive analysis to gain further insight from their data. As part of this role, you will be responsible for some of the following areas.

• Take ownership for the organisations Power BI reporting suite
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding any reporting/visualisation requirements
• Design, develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards
• Promote best practice across the team and suggest areas for further improvement

This is a salaried role paying up to £80,000 per year depending on experience. This is a hybrid role based out of the organisation's office in Essex twice per week. This role is also eligible for the company benefits package which includes generous holidays allowance, competitive pensions scheme and other benefits.

To be successful in this role you will have experience of the following tools and technologies.

• Strong Power BI experience to create custom dashboards and visualisations
• Strong experience with DAX to develop complex measures
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working with ERP systems
