An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a dynamic Legal Assistant to join a busy Post Completions team located in Marlborough. Providing support to a team of experienced fee earners, the successful Legal Assistant will confidently handle their own workload, ensuring high levels of detail and accuracy at all times. Duties may include but are not restricted to: ensuring that Stamp Duty Land Tax is paid; clearing balances; registering properties with the Land Registry; filling in AP1 forms; liaising with clients and third parties and; preparing files for closure. You must be a Legal Secretary or Paralegal with solid experience gained within Conveyancing;
You will have outstanding communication skills both verbal and written;
You will work well under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high levels of accuracy;
You will ensure a client-focused approach at all times;
You will have strong IT skills and particular proficiency using Microsoft Office Applications;
You will be pro-active, professional and detail orientated.
