Our client based in Peterborough, is looking for a Portfolio Manager to join their busy team. The successful candidate will have a minimumof 5 years' experience in Financial Services.They will primarily be responsible for the cash management for the complete set of funds used by the company's clients, amongst other things.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in Financial Services
- Good numeracy and communication skills
- Previous exposure working within fund/portfolio manager departments, would be ideal
About the role:
The portfolio manager will primarily be responsible for cash management for complete set of funds used by the company's clients. The company is responsible for oversight of cash balances and the subscription and redemption processing. The individual will also be responsible for maintaining the portfolios by creating/editing targets and the processing of orders within those fund structures to stay within the fund constraints. Other requirements include reviewing and peer reviewing suggested orders, monitoring portfolio exposure using positions and prices, monitoring any compliance violations and any corporate actions assigned to the portfolios.
Having at least 5 years industry experience, the individual will be expected to undertake a wide range of functions. In placing emphasis on risk and quality control, the individual will contribute to strengthening AWI's service offering, through challenging and volunteering solutions. In addition to providing flexible support within the team, contribution to projects will also be expected.
