Portfolio Manager

Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a B2B Portfolio Manager to join our Service Family. You will be joining the Change Team who look after all aspects of operational readiness for projects hitting B2B Service teams.

As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the B2B Change Portfolio; covering more than 200 projects per year across a multitude of products, systems and teams, and manage a team of Change Partners to achieve this. The right candidate for this role will have experience in the full change lifecycle and be able to communication with a variety of different stakeholders including, product owners, Demand Management, Service Strategy & Design, Service Acceptance etc

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and lead Operational Change Partners in the implementation of changes into Service, in alignment with the end to end Change journey and using best practice methodologies
  • Support and lead Process Consultants in the mapping of procedures and alignment of knowledge articles across B2B Service function
  • Ensure implementations are well managed, clearly communicated, consider all relevant areas and that the quality of execution is measurable and guarantees best possible experience for customer and colleague
  • Manage stakeholder communication of portfolio level risks, dependencies, impacts & benefits across B2B Service
  • Assurance that all change is delivered in alignment to UK&I Service strategy
  • Supporting the design and execution of Change Implementation roadmap; evolution of the team as a professional service

Role Requirements


  • Working experience and understanding of the full change lifecycle
  • Experience of working within a customer focussed Operations environment leading and delivering operational change
  • Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Project and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills leading to the ability to build strong relationships across a matrix structure
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Basic financial literacy to support forecasting and management of portfolio and project budgets
  • Ability to influence and build productive relationships with key programme stakeholders (both internal and external)
  • Experience in resource and prioritisation management


  • Experience in managing broad change portfolios
  • Project management qualification such as PRINCE2 or PMPk
