Portfolio Director - Large Scale Commercial Conferences & Events

London Based + Travel

Up to £65k + £20k Bonus + Benefits

The role in brief:

  • You will have 6 direct reports
  • The division creates 14 annual events
  • This position reports into the Managing Director
  • The entire team is made up of marketing, producers, sales and editorial

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Profit and loss delivery to Gross Profit
  • Strategic planning across a suite of products including digital and Face to face events
  • Lead the production schedule and management of the production team
  • Setting targets for delivery
  • Event creation and programme production
  • Audience delivery to communities and events
  • Attendee and customer experience
  • Product development and evolution
  • Production/content, marketing and VIP relation functions

Overview of required experience:

  • Proven management experience (at least 4-5 direct reports) and working across large conferences or exhibitions.
  • Budget management - someone who has ownership of a Pofit & Loss
  • Can demonstrate strong experience of successfully producing large scale events
  • High level of comfort with the digital world, from community and content marketing through to 'digital first’ events
