If you are passionate, motivated and have experience in a support role, this could be a great opportunity for you! As the Portfolio Coordinator, you'll join our centralised and busy Strategy & Risk team on a 18 month contract. A key part of this exciting opportunity is providing effective organisational and technical support to a range of high profile governance meetings and processes, as well as providing organisational and analytical support to multi-million pound strategic programmes led by or supported by our time and expertise.

You'll compile important papers and cases in readiness for governance meetings, and plan and schedule meetings to maximise attendees time and effectiveness. You'll also attend strategic meetings and will be responsible for capturing and publishing minutes, actions and decisions. You'll track, analyse and report on benefits delivered by a range of interesting projects and will ensure that senior stakeholders deliver key actions in a timely manner. You'll be an integral part of the team by supporting Programme Managers with a variety of planned and ad hoc tasks.


If you are a motivated and enthusiastic individual who possesses exceptional administrative and analytical skills, this could be your perfect next step! You'll gain a huge breadth of understanding about strategic decisions and business priorities across the business. Strong IT skills are important including being an Excel expert. You'll have a high level of organisational skills with accurate attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills along with the ability to collaborate with key stakeholders. The meetings that you'll be involved in will cover interesting topics across the breadth of the business.You'll need to be able to pick up and understand complex information with little context and be confident in your approach as most of our governance groups include Director's and Senior Managers.

Proven experience in a complex support role is vital as well as an aptitude to recognise and act upon opportunities for continuous improvement in all day to day activities. As the sole Portfolio Coordinator, you'll need to be able to manage your time effectively to ensure that you deliver a range of important outputs.
