We are a family business who launched in 2010 with a mission to produce the best-tasting popcorn in the world.

All of our popcorn and caramel sauces are handmade in London by a small team of pastry chefs.

We have a range of over 50 flavours of popcorn, 10 caramel sauces and are proud to have won 34 Great Taste Awards!

We are a fun, young, social and vibrant team of 12 based in Brent Cross in North West London. We want a SUPERSTAR marketing executive to jump on board our team. You will support our two lead marketeers in our endeavours to become a market leading brand.

Job Summary

Marketing Executive, focusing on Digital but gaining experience and exposure to full marketing mix including PR, Events, Content Production, Media, Trade Marketing and CSR

Job Description / Key Responsibilities

  • Social Media / Community Management:
    • Working with Brand Manager to develop the social media strategy
    • Responsible for all social media implementation; content calendar planning for 4 key social media channels
    • Proactive and reactive community management, engaging with consumers
    • Integration of all marketing activities into social media, in a relevant and engaging manner
    • Responsible for all EDM and competition development and implementation
    • Responsible for growth and engagement KPIs on social
  • Website Maintenance:
    • Responsible for content implementation on our website
    • Responsible for web traffic reporting and analytics, developing recommendations to increase web KPIs
  • E-commerce Maintenance:
    • Working with the Brand Manager to optimise website engagement conversion into sales
    • Responsible ensuring product portfolio is up to date and accurate
    • Responsible for reporting and analysing e-commerce sales
  • General Marketing Support
    • Supporting the wider team with projects including PR, Events, Content Production, Media, Trade Marketing and CSR
    • Budget Maintenance
    • Supporting with Copywriting
    • Consumer Relations

Skills Required

  • Genuine passion for the more cutting edge foodie platforms on which the business thrives
  • Entrepreneurial & naturally instinctive mindset
  • Passion for digital and social media platforms and by being dynamically in-tune with trends that create a buzz
  • Inbuilt aesthetic appreciation of how to project the ethos and style of the company
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent multi-tasking capacity and deadline-hitting focus
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively, inside and outside of the marketing team, across the cultural and hierarchical spectrum
  • Clear understanding of the fast-moving, hands-on requirements of the SME world and the need to be highly self-motivated and energised
  • Have strong personal integrity and ethical standards, operating consistently within the values of trust and credibility

Technical skills preferred but not mandatory, in addition to the above

  • Knowledge of WordPress
  • Knowledge of search engine optimization
  • Knowledge of social media management software

Salary: £21-£25k depending on experience

Hours: 40 hrs per week

Probationary Period: 3 months
