PMO Team Leader

A business services operating company requires a PMO Team Leader to join their large organisation. Working out of the head office in London, the successful candidate will be joining a demanding yet rewarding environment.

Role Responsibilities include the following -

  • Operation of end to end processes for effective financial management, organisational governance and management control, flexing processes to deliver to client contracts while maintaining compliance with internal policies
  • Design and produce a range of key PMO management information and report
  • Define work package (project) deliverables, calculate timescales, calculate or validate the commercials and thereby produce work package/statement of work documentation for submission to clients
  • Conducting a range of assurance activities in liaison with the finance business partner to ensure accurate financial reporting on an ad hoc, stage-end and financial year-end basis
  • Systems Administration
  • Liaise with clients to obtain the approval of work packages/statements of work, obtain cost codes or purchase orders, and after delivery, to obtain sign off
  • Conducting the Evaluation of Service process, meeting clients as required
  • Quality assurance of PMO owned information
  • Acting as a point of escalation for all PMO queries, adopting a solution focused approach and escalating further
  • Other support and administrative tasks as required

Candidate Requirements -

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Proven Project Analyst or Coordinator experience and knowledge of project management
  • Attention to detail
  • High level of MS Office experience (Word, Excel and Project)
