PMO Coordinator

PMO Coordinator - London - 12 months

We require an experienced Project Management Office to deliver and coordinate project workstreams, reporting into the Project Manager and acting as their deputy. The role will include responsibility for:

  • Successful, cost-effective delivery of change
  • Collaborative working across projects to deliver change and where possible, exceed planned benefits
  • Establish appropriate, robust project governance and structure in accordance with the change governance model
  • Manage and report project risks, issue’s and dependencies
  • Effective co-ordination, communication and stakeholder management across the organisation for all activity related to the projects/workstreams
  • Through challenge and support, hold the sponsor, project manager and project team accountable for the quality of project deliverables
  • Develop strong relationships with the all change resource ensure that they are meeting their commitments
  • Monitor and challenge project finances, working closely with the Project Manager and Finance

Skills required:

  • Ability to work within a defined framework of processes, standards, change control and reporting
  • Ability to plan and manage budgets, to understand budgetary impacts of work within Programme
  • Strong experience of planning, financial controls, risk and issue management skills
  • Adept at driving forward change and challenging groups of programme teams and stakeholders
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues of all seniority levels
  • Very strong influencing skills and experience of getting programme teams to work together. As well as strong facilitation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to effectively manage conflict and proactively work to resolve issues, mitigate risk and manage dependencies
  • Ability to move between the big picture and detail with fluidity
  • Ability to operate across programmes and deal with high levels of complexity across business units
  • A business delivery focused outlook and strong all round business acumen
