**Complex Needs Teacher.
**Working with learners from Yr 5 to Yr 10
**Located Essex/Hertfordshire border.
Our client is a Centre for Excellence catering for learners aged from 5-25 who suffer from MLD/SLD/PMLD/ADHD/ASC and other associated complex needs.
They are set in 65 acres of parkland on the Essex/Herts border and comprises a Residential Special School, an FE College with Domiciliary Care, and a village of modern bungalows for residents requiring Adult Residential Care, Nursing and Therapy.
About the Job
SEN Teacher required for an ASAP start. The position will be on a term by term basis to work with students with complex medical needs. The successful candidate will be teaching a class of approximately 6 children with 5 support staff. There can be displays of very challenging behaviour so experience in this area is a must
They are looking to appoint an SEN Teacher to join them ASAP. You will be working with learners from Year 5 to Year 10 who have various SEN requirements.
The centre welcomes applications from those candidates who have a real empathy of working with Learners with complex needs and have a high ambition to really make a difference to these young people’s lives.
Previous experience of working with student’s complex needs is desirable. Empathy and understanding are key to making a difference in this centre.
Any additional training in the following areas are welcome:
- Epi Pen Trained
- Epilepsy training
- PMLD Experience
