I am currently working closely with an SEN school based in East London. The unit caters for a variety of different SEN, ranging from global delay to PMLD.
The ideal candidate:
- Experience with working with people with SLD/PMLD (Ideally with children)
- A patient, caring and adaptable manner to deal with SEN pupils in an education setting
- Qualifications such as Team Teach are an advantage
- Must be comfortable with personal care and feeding
Classes at the school are very small and the position will require calm and caring experienced Teaching Assistants/Learning Support Assistants to assist the class teacher and provide one to one support for the SEN students.
This role is to start ASAP on a long term basis until the end of the academic year.
