Maintenance Plumber - Large University - Central London - Client Direct - Up to £16.00 per hour
Exciting opportunity to work in house for one of the top universities in London. I am currently recruiting for a Maintenance Plumber on a long term contract (Possibly temp to perm)
He or she will working alongside the estates in-house labour / maintenance team. The Estates Division is responsible for all aspects of facilities management, implementation of major and minor capital developments together with the acquisition and disposal of the universities land and buildings.
The post's duties will mainly consist of preventative and reactive maintenance, installation works and fault diagnosis within the Universities buildings. A flexible attitude to work is required as you will be expected to carry out minor tasks from other disciplines (I.e. General fabric work, assisting other tradesman)
In return the company offer a competitive hourly rate paying up to £16.00 per hour
Hours of work
Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 16:00pm (35 hour week)
Weekend work maybe required, however overtime rates will be applicable.
There is shift rota in place whereby you will be required to work one shift in every 11 weeks from 16:00pm to 23.00pm
Plumbing qualifications - City & guilds, NVQ or apprenticeship trained
A proven track record in heating ventilation
Gas Safe Registered
Good communication skills
Plumbing - Maintenance / Installation experience
Experience working in universities
Any addition trade qualifications
