Platform Oversight & Reconciliations Administrator

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established Financial Services business on its ongoing journey of planned significant growth within the Wrap / Platform market.

As a Platform Oversight & Reconciliation Administrator you will deliver exceptional service to SIPP, ISA & GIA clients across the full lifecycle using the WRAP Platform system. The scope of the role covers the support and oversight of all WRAP Product administration functions. Key to success will be your need to put the customer at the centre of everything that you do, your attention to detail, your desire to have end to end ownership, your focus on getting things right first time and your drive for continuous improvement.

Within this role you will be required to support the governance framework around the investment platform and oversee operational processes carried out by the outsourced suppliers of these plat-forms to ensure the company remains fully compliant with CASS; COBS rules and TCF principles.

You will have oversight of the third party suppliers to ensure the customers (Investment Clients and Financial Advisors) can be confident the company will continue to administer their investments correctly and with care and professionalism. Other requirements of the role will involve taking ownership of:

  • Daily reconciliation of client money bank accounts

  • Analysing and interrogating data to identify exceptions and advise on solutions.

  • Escalating and reporting exceptions and breaches when appropriate.

  • Responsibility for owning and managing all work by exception through to successful conclusion.

  • Adherence to CASS rules.

  • Ensuring company policy, procedures and regulatory guidelines and rules are adhered to at all times.

  • Ensuring all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met or exceeded.

  • Demonstrating outstanding work ethic and adaptability to achieve daily work task targets.

  • Building effective team relationships.

  • Challenging existing processes with a mind-set of continuous improvement.

As well as this, you will need to be of graduate calibre and will have:

  • A background and recent experience in investment and/or banking reconciliations

  • Proficiency in using MS Office, including advanced use of Excel, such as Pivots, lookups and data interrogation

  • Proactive and inquisitive nature with the ability to innovate and challenge in support of the business model we are operating.

  • Skills in identifying exceptions to normal working outputs and the resolution of those exceptions.

  • Experience of risk management and a controls-based mindset.

  • Time management and prioritisation skills to plan and organise own work to deliver objectives.

  • Some knowledge of CASS client money rules desirable but not essential

  • Experience in Financial Services administration

  • Relationship management and influencing skills both internally within the team and externally with 3rd party providers.

  • General understanding of the regulatory regime that the Platform operates under.

  • Knowledge of SIPP & ISA rules and regulations is advantageous

  • Financial Services professional qualifications an advantage

Salary: IRO £18,000 - £20,000 per annum plus benefits
