Fruition is working with one of the fasted growing Agile Consultancies in the UK who have doubled their technical delivery team in the last eighteen months and are about to push through the 1000 employee mark. Based in central Leeds the company is looking to hire a Platform Engineer (DevOps).

The Platform Engineer will manage, support, maintain and improve project infrastructure. This will include Automation, CI and application release process. You will act as a bridge between operations and development as well as being a key POC for clients. As an SME you will be willing and able to get involved in pre-sales and bid activities to enable the very best solution.

To be successful in this role you will need a background in managing complex multi-tier enterprise infrastructure environments on Unix/Linux. Including configuration management, automation and scripting skills including use of a scripting language such as Ruby or Python. Deployment technology with include any of Ansible, Terraform, Cobbler, Puppet, Chef etc. CI tolls will include Jenkins or TeamCity.

With regards to the cloud you will ideally have expertise in AWS! Or Vsphere, Cloudstack, Openstack etc. The company is willing to train and get employees certified in AWS.
