Plant Maintenance Manager



Days: Mon to Thurs (8am-5pm) Friday (8am-4pm)

Our Client, a world-leading wood manufacturer has an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their well-established team. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. This position will appeal to a strong multi skilled maintenance engineer looking for their next challenging role within a company going through a period of significant investment.

Role Description

*Managing 2 engineers on site
*Machinery and plant servicing
*Preventive maintenance - routine cleaning and oiling etc.
*Dealing with breakdowns quickly and efficiently in order to keep production lines running
*Ordering parts
*Producing and updating paperwork
*Keeping Directors updated with any changes or modifications required

Skills and Qualifications
*Previous management experience.
*Able to work under own initiative and supervise members of team.
*Experienced in electrical and mechanical engineering
*Conveyor and material handling equipment experience
*Welding, Soldering and Fabricating experience
