Planning Team Leader - Coalville - £23000 - Full Time

A Facilities Management company based in Coalville are currently seeking a planning Team Leader to manage a busy team of Schedulers on a permanent full time basis.

Your new role
As a Team Leader you will have day to day responsibility for the planning and scheduling team, managing productivity and performance. Duties will include:

  • Work alongside and under direction of Service Improvement Manager to ensure excellent Customer Service at all times
  • People management of team of 10 schedulers
  • Leading and motivating the team
  • Coaching & development
  • Monitoring performance against targets and conducting appraisals
  • Conducting team meetings
  • Recruitment and selection processes
  • Disciplinary and grievance procedures when required
  • Managing administration for the department
  • Database management

This is a full time permanent post with the opportunity to join a reputable and expanding organisation with future progression opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced Team Leader with a background in either Facilities Management, Housing or Maintenance and previous experience within planning and/or Scheduling is essential. You will be a motivating and inspirational individual with a passion for leading a team and getting the best results out of people. You will be able to evidence performance in a target driven environment and be an excellent people manager.
