A Birmingham based manufacturer are looking for a Planning Manager to focus on the above. It's a role that will help the business move away from short term planning towards a more developed and streamlined process.
The business manufacture a portfolio of products with high levels of variability and BOM complexity.
It’s a role that nicely balances strategic development with operational planning. You’ll be accountable for planning via your team, and long term capacity modelling looking at 5-year forecasts.
You'll be involved in the S&OP process, providing input and insights to help develop. You’ll also be getting involved in budget discussions as the business looks to ensure they are capable of meeting demand over the medium-long term.
Additionally, there are projects around systems, manufacturing processes, and BOMs.
