As Planning Manager, you will lead and develop the planning department, actively influence planning processes and procedures, support the development and implementation of the ERP system and drive continuous improvement initiatives. You will be involved in long term capacity planning, identify and manage inventory obsolescence, develop supply strategies and ensure effective scheduling and production planning occurs.

In order to carry out this role, you will need the following skills and experience:

  • Extensive experience of planning and scheduling - ideally within a complex environment
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Previous experience of managing a team
  • Passion for planning and scheduling
  • Experience of IFS ERP is an advantage
