Key responsibilities include:
• Conducting research and site appraisals • Preparation, submission and negotiation of planning applications independently • Co-ordination of project teams, project management and public consultation • Responding to development plan consultations • Providing first class advice to other team members and sectors of the business
We are looking for someone:
• With a sound knowledge and application of relevant legislation, planning policy and guidance • Who is organised, self-motivated, efficient and performance driven • With established interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills • Who seeks out development opportunities • With experience of development management, EIA and Development Plans • To analyse complex situations and provide reasoned practical advice • Who is commercially aware, with an ability to network and generate work on their own merit. • To be a key part of our experienced and friendly Planning and Development team
You need to:
• Have a Degree or Diploma in Town Planning, • Have a full or licentiate membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute • Have a minimum of two year's relevant work experience • Have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills • Be IT proficient and confident working with plans and maps • Be presentable, versatile and robust; inspiring confidence in your abilities • Hold a full and current driving licence and daily have the use of a car insured for business purposes.
