Planning Administrator

Our client has a vacancy for a Planning Administrator to coordinate the planning and procurement of materials requirements for the business and to coordinate the materials requirements for 'special projects’.

Key Tasks

  • To forecast materials requirements and to plan stock levels accordingly.

  • To procure core materials from UK suppliers.

  • To assist in maintaining optimal stock levels.

  • Minimise overstock

  • Analyse demand pattern for materials taken from German warehouse

  • To assist in planning stocks for special projects.

  • Monitor shelf life articles

  • To check and correct Intrastat data.

  • Any other tasks as required by the Supply chain manager

Essential Skills

  • Computer literate with intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Attention to detail

  • Good communication skills.

  • Office administration experience.

  • Willingness/flexible approach to helping colleagues when required.
