As a Planner you be will be accountable for ensuring robust change control procedures are implemented across the Portfolio and the Governance process is managed as per the scheduling methodology set by the PMO.

Job Description

- Accountable for the updating and maintenance of the schedule.
- Responsible for working with other Subject Matter Experts & Programme Control Managers to ensure effective interaction of schedule performance with risk performance, cost performance, quality performance, scope delivery & benefit realisation.
- Maintain an appropriate assurance regime to ensure schedule management best practice is applied consistently across the Projects/Portfolios/Programmes.
- Accountable for the development maintenance and integrity of the schedule baseline (AMP, Current Year, Current Actual, Forecast and Risk views) as part of the overall integrated baseline management process. As an integral part of this remit ensure accurate & timely schedule information is available to inform strategic decisions.
- Accountable for acting as the Subject Matter Expert in Schedule Management, and ensuring the approach to effectively schedule management is consistent within the scheduling team.
- Effective and integrated reporting to include time, cost, change, risk, issues, opportunities and business categories that inform the Board, CEO, Regulator and key stakeholders on our business performance in the delivery of the projects and program.

Requirements: 

- Solid technical expertise/experience in effective end-to-end Schedule Management, which adds demonstrable value.
- P6 skill set, able to Develop and Build the EPS, CBS, OBS and project WBS and system management, including health checks, reviews of schedules for orphans, missing links, data, etc…
