An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Planned Project Manager to join our team in Livin, Spennymoor.
Within this role, you will lead, supervise and control the day to day activities on one or more schemes under your control ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. You will carry out effective project management of capital works schemes including managing logistics and customer liaison linking with teams across the integrated delivery model to deliver an excellent customer experience.
In addition, you will ensure that Livin is compliant with all regulations relating to capital works delivery, specifically CDM, Health and Safety and Environmental and will be responsible for managing the delivery of capital works via effective leadership of teams of Mears operatives and sub-contractors.
In order to be successful in this role, you will have extensive internal and external refurbishment experience, especially dealing in high volume schemes, coupled with new build / regeneration experience.
With significant site management experience across multiple locations (being used to managing numerous schemes at once) you should also have demonstrable experience in managing, monitoring and reporting on health and safety for employees, contractors, customers and the public.
It is essential that the successful candidate holds a Degree in Construction Management, along with a trade qualification and SMSTS or SSSTS. With Asbestos Awareness, you will also have a Basic Scaffold Inspection Certificate, CSCS Card and First Aid at Work.
A company car is provided as standard
