Placement and Progressions Officer

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work for an Ofsted Outstanding Training provider and support young people aged between 16-18 look for suitable work placements and apprenticeships in the local area. This will involve building good relationships with local businesses, and completing risk assessments and the relevant documentation, so that company processes and procedures are followed. The position also involves completing written reviews for each student whilst on work placement. The role as a work placement and progression officer also involves achieving KPI’s that are set by the company. The role will also involve attending local networking events that will be linked to supporting students in finding suitable apprenticeships.

*This role is to work 3 days per week. Days of work will be negotiable at interview.

Essential Experience:

  • A Minimum of two years of learner or employer engagement experience.

  • Good Knowledge of the local area.

  • Good knowledge and experience of using MS Office (work,excel,power point and outlook)

  • Current UK Driving Licence and access to a car.

  • Desirable Experience:

  • A background in either adult or unemployed recruitment.

  • Experience of partnership working and development of productive business relationships.

  • Experience of delivering training or supporting young people (14-19) who have LDDs including attitude and/or behaviour problems.

  • IAG at Level 3/4
