Our client, a leading name in the world of Biogas Engines and CHP are looking to add a full time Pipe fitter Welder to their team as soon as possible. This could be an ideal role for someone with extensive pipe fitting experience, preferably with Commercial Gas safe pipework installation ticket, and preferably coded, in TIG, MIG and MMA (stick) welding, with good fabrication skills, and an ability to work on engines as well would be an advantage.
Based out of our client's HQ in Northampton, this field based role will see the successful applicant travelling to various sites throughout the UK, predominantly within commutable distance from Northampton, to carry out pipe fitting and welding installations, adjustments and repairs for a variety of CHP / Gas Engine projects. Sites visited will vary from Power Plants, Hospitals and Coal Mines to name a few. This is an excellent opportunity for a Pipe fitter with vast welding experience (preferably commercial gas safe) who is looking to progress into a career where they could potentially start working more and more on the engines themselves over time.
- Extensive pipe fitting experience.
- TIG, MIG and MMA (stick) welding experienced.
- Commercial Gas safe pipework installation ticket holder.
- Ability to work on engines as well would be an advantage.
