Physiotherapy Assistant Practitioner

This post is an opportunity to be part of an innovative approach to providing direct clinical care which encompasses Physiotherapy assessment treatment and management of patients within a Neurological Rehabilitation in-patient setting.

You will be clinically responsible for your own caseload of patients. You will also help support the qualified Physiotherapist with their caseload while participating in the service improvement and service change.

You must provide evidence of previous learning and development at HNC or SVQ III in Health and Social Care or other equivalent qualifications.

You should have relevant experience with similar clients and possess accurate and effective observation skills. You will display good written and verbal communication skills.

You should have the ability to work independently with individuals/groups within a supportive environment while also being able to deliver interventions as delegated by the Physiotherapist. You will be a proactive dynamic individual who is comfortable working within a team.

Hours of work: 30 hours over 5 days in a week.
