An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our Physiotherapy team in Fort William.

You must have a degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy and current HCPC registration. You must also have relevant post graduate experience and have a flexible and adaptable approach to work. An ability to work independently is necessary along with excellent communication and team working skills. Evidence of ongoing professional development is required.

Lochaber Physiotherapy team is a small, but highly motivated and friendly team based in Fort William Health Centre. This post includes an MSK, Cardiac Rehabilitation and domiciliary remit and has an 'on call' commitment. This position may be offered as a development post in the appropriate circumstances.

There is a local population of approximately 20,000 in Lochaber District spread over a large geographical area of 2000sq miles. Fort William is a major tourist centre, with Glencoe just to the south, Aonach Mor to the east and Glenfinnan to the west, on the road to the Isles. Fort William is considered the outdoor capital of the UK. It is a centre for hill walking and climbing due to its proximity to ben Nevis and many other Munros. It is also well known for its nearby downhill mountain bike track and skiing and is the start/end of both the West Highland Way (Milngavie-Fort William) and the Great Glen Way (a walk/cycle way Fort William-Inverness).
