Job Summary

Care UK have a vacancy for a Physiotherapist to work at Southampton Treatment Centre. This role is suitable for recently qualified graduates. This is a permanent role for 37.5 hours per week. Hours: Requires a highly flexible approach. 37.5 hours. Includes occasional weekends Shift pattern: 9 – 7.30 pm, subject to change every week based on rota. Area of work: Majorly inpatient elective orthopedics, day surgery, Cover for outpatient The remuneration is between £22,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on experience. To be part of an integrated multi-professional team providing an effective physiotherapy services The Principal Duties and Responsibilities are:  To determine by assessment and treatment, requirements for patients and to provide the necessary physiotherapy according to prescribed protocols.  To comply with the clinical standards and professional conduct of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and Health Professions Council.  To hold responsibility for own caseload and be responsible for a defined area of the service or a particular patient type, working without direct supervision. Supervision taking the form of regular formal training and clinical reasoning sessions, peer review, case conferences.  To organise workload in conjunction with other team members.  To ensure an effective and efficient service.  To liaise with patients, carers, and other disciplines to provide the best possible outcome for the patient.  To assess and manage clinical risk.  To organise and run group sessions for patients with orthopaedic/musculoskeletal problems. To be responsible for audit of such sessions and identify/implement any changes required QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL • Bachelors or equivalent in Physiotherapy • Recent relevant experience • Good computer skills • Knowledge of word and excel DESIRABLE Minimum 3 months experience in Elective Orthopedics For more information on Care UK and the treatment centre please visit and
