£26,830 - £35,933
NHS Highland is keen to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated band 6 community physiotherapist.
Set in an area with some of Scotland's most iconic scenery, post represents a rare opportunity to work in a close working, well-supported department with a low turnover rate and with good development opportunities.
The semi-rural location of Helensburgh and Lomond lends itself to a varying patient demographic from patients living in remote rural areas and also to those living in more urban settings with a wide variety of conditions.
The physiotherapy post works alongside another experienced band 6 physiotherapist to deliver care to all community patients with the opportunity to gain experience in innovative falls development work.
The physiotherapists also work with their colleagues in outpatients and local extended community care team to deliver care packages to patients.
Helensburgh is in the unusual situation where it is part of NHS Highland but is only 4 miles from the border with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde which provides the unique opportunity to work with colleagues and access training and development with both organisations with relative ease.
There are varied and good transport links with the rest of Argyll and Bute HCSP and also into Glasgow, which is half an hour away.
There have been no vacant physiotherapy posts in this area for several years so this post is a rare opportunity for career development in an exciting location.
