As a Physics Teaching Assistant your role will primarily involve working with GCSE students in Science, however the will be requirement to provide A-level support in Physics. Due to the detailed curriculum knowledge required for this Physics teaching Assistant role, a degree in Physics is essential for this position. Knowledge of additional sciences on top of your specialism would be a fantastic positive and would benefit the schools science department as will a sound understanding of Mathematics.
Within the Physics Teaching Assistant role you will be supporting the class teacher over an array of topics, helping students grasp theories and gain a better understanding of learning objectives in science.
