To be successful in your application for this Physics Teacher position you will be a 'Good' or better practitioner with exceptional subject knowledge. The ideal Physics Teacher will have the skills to bring classrooms to life with their enthusiastic and passionate approach to teaching. It is essential for you to possess a motivating style in the classroom and the ability to quickly motivate and bond with pupils, enforcing high-expectations early on.
As a new school your initial remit will see you teaching across Key Stage 3 and 4, up to Year 10. As the school continues to expand a Sixth Form will be opening within the next 18 months allowing you to also take on KS5 responsibilities. As the school has been growing year on year since its initial opening the opportunities for progression are vast and ambitious and dynamic teachers will be sure to succeed in their career ambitions here. Your teaching will need to be dynamic to mix well with the current departmental philosophy which relies on new ideas.
