About The Role


Primary care is changing; both the way we interact with patients and the local structures. It is an exciting and dynamic time to work within General Practice.  

To support the three high achieving practices within the PCN we are recruiting a total of 3 WTE Physician Associates.  We welcome applications from experienced qualified PAs and candidates who are newly qualified having completed the Physician Associate Postgraduate Diploma/Masters from an accredited UK university and passed or are waiting for their Physician Associate National Examination. Part time/job share will be considered.

The role will offer you the opportunity to build on your experience of working within a multidisciplinary healthcare team and involve all aspects of patient care across the 3 practices in HHPCN.

The minimum criteria for this job includes, but is not limited to:

  • Physician Associate Postgraduate Diploma/Masters 
  • Current and valid certification by the UK Physician Associate National Examination
  • Member of the Faculty of Physician Associates at the RCP
  • Registration on the UK Physician Associate Register
  • Ability to work flexibly and meet the needs of the patients
  • Energy and enthusiasm and the ability to work under pressure
