As part of our focus on continuously improving care within the Trust we are looking to employ Physicians Associates to join our existing Physician Associate cohort within the Division of Medicine. If you are a hardworking, organised and resilient clinician with a strong patient focus we would like to hear from you, whether you are newly qualified or an experienced PA.
Working alongside medical, nursing and AHP colleagues with the support of a consultant-led team, you will be delivering care and developing your own skills and career challenging yourself and colleagues to offer the best care for our patients. These posts will rotate through our acute and step down sites experiencing all aspects of acute and sub-acute medical care – providing unrivalled opportunities to learn and progress whilst offering the best possible care for our patients – and developing into Non-Medical Prescriber roles as legislation changes
MYHT have a robust Physician Associate programme with regular PA-specific training, and the opportunity to attend speciality and other training opportunities including journal club, junior doctor teaching and grand rounds.
These posts are advertised for registered PAs working full time however less than full time applications may be considered and those awaiting exam results are welcome to apply. Please note however that only applicants who have passed their exams should attend interview.
