An independent Jewish preparatory school in the Kilburn area are looking to recruit a PE specialist teacher to teach Physical Education across the primary age range, and to manage equipment and extra-curricular activities in a brand new purpose built sports facility.
This Jewish Preparatory School seeks to imbue its students with a love of learning of both secular and Jewish studies. This is achieved through the support we give each individual pupil and taking into account the religious beliefs they value in every decision we make. In addition to emphasising the importance of learning about Judaism, we expect our pupils to live in accordance with the school ethos - which encourages pupils to reflect on how Jewish values can underpin how they live their lives both inside and outside the school framework. This is a small and family friendly school whose success is based on the teamwork of all teaching and support staff.
The school are seeking a qualified teacher, with a PE or sport coaching qualification to lead a Physical Education and sports programme on a full-time basis, with full responsibility for planning and delivering an inclusive and fun physical activity curriculum accessible for all students in school. The school are very keen to increase and improve the level of physical activity and participation of pupils in sport and PE.

-A teacher who is either primary or secondary trained
-a PE specialist teacher, either with a Physical Education degree or a qualified teacher who has sports coaching qualifications, and / or coaching experience

-A teacher who is dedicated to managing a purpose built facility and will co-ordinate a range of extra-curricular activities at lunch times and after school.
