Looking for exciting projects whilst maintaining a healthy work / life balance? Is your ambition and potential not being recognised?
I’m speaking on behalf of a large finance company based in Leeds, they’re looking to bring in a developer to work on some internal projects that will help completely revitalise the shape and dynamic of the company.
In terms of your role, whilst you’re getting up to speed learning about the ins and outs of the company you’ll be working on internal APIs based on Laravel, an internal PBX framework system as well as developing a new telecommunication system within the company. They’ve looked elsewhere but they really need to bring the talent in to create this, no existing system is ticking the boxes they need.
The skills you need:
- PHP, OOP
- HTML4/5, CSS
Once you’re up and running you’ll have a great opportunity to see the company’s strengths, areas it can improve and how you can enhance them. If you so choose you’ll get the freedom to lead the projects and systems you introduce, the role is largely what you make it and the skills you bring.
If you aren’t looking to lead projects they’ve specifically said that’s fine, they’re looking for your talent more than anything, and their priority is that you feel comfortable in the role and can work to the best of your ability.
In terms of culture and working environment the team is informal but very dedicated, and the company strongly believes in supporting your career development plans. You’ll be working closely with 5 other developers who are all easy going and have set up the perfect platform for you to come in, enjoy your day to day whilst getting to work on some high priority systems.
Very few companies I’m working with have growth plans comparable with these guys. If you like the sound already please submit your CV and get in touch with Oliver - Chassam Recruitment, I’ll be happy to chat about the company direction and your specific role there in more detail.
