PHP Developer - Twickenham - Up to £50,000
We are looking for a backend PHP developer for a large software house based in Twickenham. They are based in a great location that is easily commutable by car, train and tram. It's a relaxed atmosphere, casual dress and flexible working .
In regards to the work; everything you will touch will be backend focused, redeveloping their current systems and being involved with the scoping and build of a range of new projects. There will 100% be a mixture of older tech and new tech projects/ solutions. There is continuously new requirements, new tech, creating an ever evolving development landscape for the right person to flourish. If you want to be challenged and put out of your comfort zone, continuously progressing forward, adapting to new scenarios and overall becoming a better, more rounded developer, this is the role for you.
In regards to career progression, there is a number of different routes available to you. If you ideally would like to stay techy for a little while longer, the usual route for the company is the Architect role, however, a Development manager role could also be on the horizon.
They are more than happy to be flexible with staff to support your work-life balance and cut down on your commute times. This includes the option to work around the core hours of 10-4. Lunch times are flexible, with the options to take longer or shorter depending on what you need on the day. They will always aim to be as flexible as they can to ensure you are both happy at work and home.
Skills required for the role:
- MVC (Laravel, Symfony or Similar)
- HTML/ CSS
