PHP Developer

Full Stack PHP Web Developer
Location: Bristol
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

Our client, a market leading business based in Bristol require an experienced Full Stack PHP Web Developer with strong Object Oriented PHP and MySQL skills. You will be an integral part of the company, responsible for developing their award winning website and pushing it in new directions. My client is looking for professionals with an enthusiasm for technology and always keen to expand their skillsets, such as getting involved with UX design.

Skills / Experience
* Graduate computer related degree or equivalent qualification/experience
* Strong Object Oriented PHP and MVC experience, preferably with a platform such as Laravel
* Good MySQL and database design knowledge
* Proficient in modern web stack (HTML5, SASS, JavaScript), with experience in modern platforms such as Angular or Vue
* Knowledge of best practises such as unit testing, design patterns and re-factoring
* Excellent communication and analytical skills
* Attention to detail and patient in bug finding
* Hard working and reliable - does not give up on a problem easily

Responsibilities
* Manage own workload effectively and quickly respond to production issues
* Communicate clearly and effectively in a small team
* Develop and test all work carefully to avoid costly mistakes
