Your new company
You will be joining a digitally driven business, established for close to 20 years, located close to Wimborne in the heart of Dorset. We're seeking a multi-skilled candidate with a competence in OO PHP skills and that's comfortable in front of clients.

Your new role
You will be working on a range of projects and will be reporting directly to the Head of Digital and General Manager playing a pivotal role in creating high quality site builds for clients, predominantly servicing the SME market.

The role offers a chance to grow a hybrid skill set with opportunities to work on all elements of the build process as the company are strong believers in sharing responsibilities. The focus will be around quality, well-structured code and ensuring quality over quantity in the projects that go out the door. You'll be encouraged to consider cross-platform performance and security in your work and moving forward, they'll look to shape the role around the right candidate, so hunger and a positive attitude is key.

The environment is perfect for someone who is self-motivated, wants access to a variety of tech/tools/project work and who would thrive in a small, friendly team where everyone works together to meet deadlines as they feel valued.

What you'll need to succeed
Technology wise the company are open source and predominantly run full stack PHP / JavaScript. It is important to have knowledge an appreciation of the front end and how design links to your daily work. There's jQuery/AJAX, PHP MVC frameworks, GIT, SASS/LESS, and some Wordpress.

If you are missing one of these skills in isolation then do not be concerned, the company value aptitude to learn and personality in equal measure to technical skills.

We're looking for someone to bring experience and gravitas to the team, someone with an eye on strategy and that is important than these points you should be comfortable being given a development project to complete without continuous guidance.
