Phonics specialist – teaching assistant

£55 - £65 per day


PK Education’s Sheffield branch are currently recruiting for teaching assistants who have received phonics training – ideally read write inc or jolly phonics – and would be able to lead phonics sessions to small groups of children at a primary school in Chesterfield.

This school is close to multiple travel links, is easily accessible via the city centre as well as the M1.

In this role you will be required to lead phonics sessions to groups of KS1 students, as well as work closely with the teacher to ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students in the class.

To be considered for the role you must have:

Experience working in early years.

CACHE level 2, or, 6 months’ experience in a school.

Phonics experience.

Additional requirements:

Reference details will be requested prior to registration.

Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – full support will be provided if you do not yet have a DBS.
