Pharmacy Support Worker - Rotational

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of Pharmacy Support Workers within NHS Ayrshire & Arran providing a wide range of pharmacy services to patients across the area.

This is a rotational post offering training and experience in all aspects of hospital pharmacy.

University Hospital Ayr this will include:
Dispensary Distribution Ward top-up Aseptic Services the Combined Assessment Unit and Pharmacy Stores.

Pharmacy experience would be an advantage but full training will be provided along with the opportunity to attain an SVQ level 2 qualification.

This post carries a contractual commitment to work on a shift system (which includes a commitment to cover 7 days including weekend and evening). Post-holders will also be required to participate in our Public holiday rotas.

You should possess the following:

" SVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Services (or achieve this qualification within two years from commencement)
" Good communication skills (oral and written)
" Good customer care skills
" Basic arithmetic skill

Hours: 37.5 per week

This is a fixed term/secondment opportunity until 31 July 2018.
