I am currently looking for an Account Manager to join a highly successful team in the field of Medical Gases. The role will cover a Midlands Territory and will involve managing the existing customer accounts in the region which includes Hospitals, Neonatal Care and Cardiac Clinics. The role is offered with an attractive package which includes a base salary in the region of £40,000-£45,000 plus bonus scheme and company car.

Summary of the role
You will manage existing accounts under NHS contract and framework agreements and maximise new opportunities.
You will provide a high level of customer support to the clinical and technical staff backed up with a comprehensive training program tailored to suit each hospital’s needs.
You will build firm relationships with all your account key stakeholders agreeing patient therapy delivery numbers to ensure accurate invoicing.
The role also includes, along with other regional managers, provision of a 24/7 help-line to all our customers on a rota basis.
Enjoying the high degree of autonomy and independent decision making which is necessary within the role.
Contributing and being part of a highly professional small team, sharing new practices and clinical developments within the team and your customers.
Being a key part of a therapy which has a dramatic positive effect on some of the smallest and most vulnerable patients.

Role/experience requirements
Ideally you will have a solid track record of selling within NHS Hospitals in the medical device or pharmaceutical field.
You will be comfortable within the clinical arena, with the knowledge to train the therapy and products to clinicians, nursing staff and technologists.
Key skills include building good relationships with all account stakeholders and the ability to train clinical and bio-medical staff on the clinical application of the drug and use of their machines for therapy delivery.
A high degree of autonomy and independent decision making is also required. The successful candidate must also have a high degree of personal integrity.
