A fantastic opportunity within Harrow Council for a qualified and experienced Pest Control Officer to join our expanding team on a temp basis.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join us as a Pest Control Officer for a 20 week assignment.
In return we pay a competitive rate of £13.31 per hour, other benefits include excellent training and support for career development and 21 days holiday (excluding Bank Holidays).
Your hours of work will be 9:00am - 5:00pm and will have to work a Saturday every 3 weeks on rota basis (9am -1pm)
To be successful in this role you would need to have the below skills & experience:
RSPH level 2 or equivalent (BPCA-Level 2 certificate pest management)
Basic knowledge and understanding of health and safety standards in the workplace, particularly that relate to the role and the ability to train in risk assessments.
" Full UK Driving Licence (Clean)
Applicants must be willing to undergo a full DBS background check.
Duties will include:
Being responsible for the efficient and effective performance of all duties in relation to pest control.
To give technical advice on treatment of rodents and proofing against re-infestation of other categories of pests.

To meet all health and safety requirements of the pest control programme
