Personal Tax Senior - Growing Successful Practice - Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Tax Senior or Semi-Senior to join a successful and growing large practice based in Cheshire. As part of the Private Client Team you will be working with a large and diverse portfolio of personal tax clients. You will be an integral part of an accomplished team who have been instrumental in growing the practice.

Personal Tax Senior - Growing Successful Practice - Role Responsibility

Prepare clients tax returns, correspondence and reports, to filing deadlines

  • Identify client problems and propose appropriate solutions
  • Calculate tax liabilities and ensure that tax payments are correct and made on time
  • Provide general tax planning advise to clients, where appropriate and within your areas of knowledge and expertise
  • Deal with ongoing compliance matters for your portfolio of clients
  • Responsible for the billing of your portfolio ensuring you meet agreed fee targets
  • Build excellent relationships with your colleagues and clients
  • Support the Partners to improve the efficiency of the department and its processes
  • Take a pro-active approach to identifying client opportunities
  • Develop a network of contacts to help build the practice

Personal Tax Senior - Growing Successful Practice - The Ideal Candidate

  • ATT Qualified or CTA Qualified
  • Senior or Semi-Senior
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to build good relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Experience in the personal tax environment
  • Experience in managing own portfolio
  • Good organisational and time management skills
