Personal Lines Claims Handler
Barker Munro Recruitment is pleased to be working with a well-established independent insurance brokerage who are looking to add a claims handler to their personal lines team.
The main responsibilities of the role will be to handle claims across household (building and contents), travel and personal accident policies from cradle to grave including settling claims under delegated authority. You will maintain agreed service levels in line with business agreement and will also make sure third parties such as loss adjusters also hit set SLA's. You will build strong relationships with clients and colleagues and will make sure you offer an excellent customer service experience at all times.
In order to be considered for the position of Personal Lines Claims Handler you will need to ideally have experience handling household, travel and PA claims. You will be enthusiastic, a confident communicator with excellent customer service skills and will be able to work under pressure. You will need to be able to handle difficult phone calls at times so strong empathy skills will be needed as will a strong attention to detail.
