To provide a full broking and re-broking service to existing and potential clients in respect of their personal insurance needs. You will have involvement in new business quotations, mid-term adjustments and renewals. There will be regular contact with insurers and customers as well as the maintenance of computerised and manual files and the handling of queries including claims. Business handled will encompass private motor, household buildings and contents and leisure products.
The successful candidate must have a sound knowledge of personal lines insurance, ideally gained within an insurance broking environment, although consideration will be given to candidates from an insurance company background. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential and you must be computer literate. Candidates should have a minimum of 7 GCSE's at Grade A/C including Maths and English. Some progress with professional qualifications is preferred.
