A full-time Secretary is required to join a busy team supporting and assisting a Senior Associate. The role will support the experienced lawyers within a department pursuing Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence cases on behalf of injured individuals. To be considered for this position, the candidate must have superior administrative skills, an accurate command of the English language, a real desire to help people, a "can do" attitude and a willingness to get involved with all aspects of supporting this thriving department. Due to the nature of the work, the candidate must be able to work in a fast paced and busy environment, with the ability to balance tasks and prioritise accordingly. Therefore self-management is essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate a track record of being a team player and will have strong organisational and IT skills, along with the ability and interest to support the Lawyers with progressing with client matters along with managing events, diary management and social committee related tasks. Previous experience as a Professional Secretary in a legal setting is essential and litigation or medical experience would also be an advantage.
This is not a fee earning role but is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Secretary keen to get involved in a variety of tasks and with a willingness to learn and enhance their skills.
