Personal Claims Consultant

As a Personal Claims Consultant you will be expected to visit policyholders in their homes and make expert assessments to help the customer understand the claims process and agree a way forward. The role will involve correctly interpreting insurance policies, principles and practices of insurance, and understanding and securing appropriate evidence to support the claim decision. Losses will all be domestic claims for buildings and contents losses, typically up to £100,000. Working from a home base you will cover a geographical area of Northern Ireland.

Candidates must have a proven track record as a personal lines claims inspector with an insurer or as a domestic, commercial or general property adjuster. You must have an excellent customer service attitude and be a very good communicator. Progression towards professional qualifications would be advantageous, but not essential. This role offers an excellent overall package.
