Our leading blue chip financial services client are looking for a Personal Assistant to provide a full and confidential service to a Senior Executive, including managing their office and business programme.

The role will involve:

  • Diary management. Co-ordinating and planning appointments
  • Plan and prioritise a demanding schedule
  • Arrange travel requirements within the UK and overseas.
  • Review all inward correspondence (emails and letters), prioritising actions and deciding whether or not the CIO needs to see items. Responding to correspondence, without reference, where appropriate.
  • Prioritise work-flows by taking action during absences
  • Gather and provide information on a wide range of topics, including relevant committees, etc.
  • Receive all incoming telephone calls, ascertain their nature and importance and deal with a wide variety of internal and external enquiries.
  • Assist with event planning
  • Prepare expense reports and claims
  • Responsible for the provision of a full secretarial service and general office duties e.g. filing, faxes, and photocopies
  • Absence and annual leave tracking for Direct Reports

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with continuously shifting priorities
  • Strong organisational and environmental awareness

This role offers the candidate the chance to work at one of the UK's largest Financial Services Clients on a ground-breaking regulation that impacts all customers and how they interact with companies & technology. It also offers exposure to very senior individuals within the organisations. This is a 12-month initial contract.
