Our client is seeking to appoint a committed, dedicated and highly-efficient Personal Assistant to provide a high level of flexible support to the Executive Principle. You will ooze confidence and learn to second-guess the Principle's needs, demonstrating an outstanding example to your colleagues.

41 working weeks (Total paid weeks 46.51 this includes 35 days holiday + stats)

Key responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for confidential secretarial, administration and clerical duties relating to the Executives work
  • Maintaining a realistic and manageable diary
  • Organising and attending meetings and ensuring the Executive is well prepared for meetings; producing correspondence and collating paperwork
  • Carry out Performance and Development Reviews for the company team
  • In conjunction with HR Shared Service, provide administrative support to the staff disciplinary process, including the preparing and distribution of documentation prior to formal meetings
  • Organise agendas and take minutes of SLT and other meetings as requested by the Executive
  • To take responsibility for the events organisation for the company
  • Lead on the preparation of advertisements for vacancies across the company and, prepare and send out job details, obtain references and arrange interviews
  • To manage/be responsible for the development of PR & Marketing for the company
  • Oversee the strategic development of company Administrative Systems

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualities:

  • An organised and thorough approach to work
  • Ability to see projects through form start to finish managing time and tasks effectively
  • Ability to manage a heavy workload and at times conflicting priorities as well as tracking progress on a wide range of tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to provide a high level of customer service to stakeholders
  • Excellent typing skills with the ability to draft own correspondence
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Flexibility and a willingness to undertake varied responsibilities working alone or as part of a team
  • Able to work under pressure

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a PA/ EA role
  • Qualifications beyond A Level are desirable
  • A Level qualifications are desirable
  • Maths and English at GCSE or equivalent experience
  • Experience of organising and providing administrative assistance to a senior role
  • Experience of handling a wide range of enquiries and an excellent telephone manner
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
